For those of you who read my Confessions of a Disney World Addict blog you know that one of my favorite things to do is to plan trips to my favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World. Well as the PDD (Post Disney Depression) wears off I am now planning my latest adventure to WDW. I have edited and reedited my photos from my latest trip and am ready for a special trip in June. The trip is special because it is an adult only trip. My wife and I are going to celebrate our silver anniversary (which isn't until October).

Our first trip to Disney together was in a period I call pre-kids or PK back in 1994. We wouldn't again make a trip to WDW until 2008 and we have followed up that short two day trip with one in the summer of 2009 and then a small break until 2012 and have not missed a year since then all of them with our three children Nick, Corri, and Wyatt.

My purpose in writing this blog is one part therapy, another part informative, and finally fun. If there is one thing I love talking/writing about it is WDW. I should pull the reigns back a bit and warn you that things said here are my OPINION. I will pass along news, views, and hopefully not make you snooze.

I began my last blog with posts on each of the parks and over the years the parks have gone through renovations some small, some massive, while some are going on as we speak. The Magic Kingdom has revamped Fantasyland, EPCOT has capitalized on the Frozen craze and updated Soarin', Animal Kingdom is getting ready for Avatar land, while Disney Hollywood Studios is under a large construction overhaul with the building of areas for Star Wars and PIXAR. Even Downtown Disney has become Disney Springs and more of a WDW must see instead of an add-on.

Each of the posts for this blog I hope to include a BEST list for certain things concerning WDW. This is where I would like some input from you the reader(s), hopefully more than a few of you are reading. I would like to know what you want to know my opinion of. If you comment I will give you my honest OPINION. Remember it is an OPINION not the gospel. My first BEST list will be about Magic Kingdom. Must be done things at Magic Kingdom (MK): in no particular order...

1. The Classics (Small World, Carousel of Progress, Enchanted Tiki Room...)
2. The Stand-By queue of Haunted Mansion... I am not always a proponent of waiting in line so I say hit this before the lines get monstrously long, but this line is worth it. The Fast Pass line by-passes some cool interactive things.
3. The Mountains of MK (Splash, Big Thunder, and Space) at least once (Splash and Big Thunder are two of my favorite rides in all of WDW. I am not a big Space Mountain fan but I think it should be experienced at least once which I and my oldest son Nick did on Christmas Eve 2008.
4. Festival of Fantasy Parade
5. Castle Projection Show and Wishes Fireworks...

During our last trip I would add a new Muppet presentation in Liberty Square...
I am trying my hardest to keep this list to ONLY five MUST DO's but it is very hard... again let me know what you think or want to know.

I am not using this blog as an advertisement and I am not associated with Disney or any travel agency in any way except to say that I recommend you use a travel concierge who specializes in Disney destinations. I have used Wishes Family Travel for my last trip and am using it for our June trip. Needless to say I was pleased with the service and the concierge agent, Nicole Couch, worked with me and did the tedious tasks while never keeping us out of the loop during the planning stage.
